The One Planet<\/em> project is born from a shared passion for sailing, passed down through generations in our respective families. From the iconic Newport regattas of the 1920s to our family\u2019s classic sailing yachts of the 1950s, sailing has always been a cherished part of our heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But a few decades later, the world has changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can no longer ignore the dramatic impact of climate change on the environment and biodiversity. Modern yachting \u2014and the comfort it brings on large yachts\u2014 has traditionally relied on power generators running 24\/7, resulting in a significant carbon footprint. This reliance has been the price of onboard luxuries such as electricity, air conditioning, hot water, refrigeration, ice makers, audio-visual systems, internet, and galley equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is no longer acceptable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the latest technologies, comparable to what Tesla has achieved in the automotive sector, a new era of electric yachting has begun. It preserves an understated, elegant luxury while being far more respectful of the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The choice of a large catamaran for this project was a natural one, as it combines comfort and stability with the volume of a 40-meter yacht. Its expansive dimensions provide sufficient surface area for the Solar Skin to meet all its electrical needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One Planet<\/em> was delivered by the award-winning Sunreef shipyard and custom-designed to meet unique specifications, offering top-tier services while minimizing its carbon footprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
